Applications
Motor for radial or semi-axial submersible pumps, in wells with
6” diameter or bigger, basins or boosters for pressurization
systems.
Constructive Characteristics- Standard Motors
- Water filled rewindable submersible motor, with PVC or PE winding. Filling fluid: clean water with mono-propylenic glycol. Pre-filled motors, fill-up tools included.
- Flange and shaft protrusion in compliance with NEMA standards
- Degree of protection: IP 68
- Shaft entirely made of stainless steel AISI 431
- Outer shell made of stainless steel AISI304
- Bidirectional Kingsbury type axial thrust bearing
- Counterthrust bearing
- Water lubricated radial bearings
- Safety valve

A compensation membrane on the bottom of the motor ensures
the balance between the internal and external pressures, along
with the variation of the water volume due to the temperature.
Standard, double seal system on rotor shaft: bi-directional
mechanical seal in SiC-AlO+sand-guard with laminar seal
Rotation: clockwise or counter clockwise without distinction
Cable material suitable for use with drinking water.
All motors 100% tested (test report supplied upon request).
SAER submersible motors are suitable for use with frequency

- Standard voltages: 400 V - 50 Hz / 460 V - 60 Hz, other voltages up to 700 V upon request

Installation and Operation Characteristics
- All MS152 series motors do not need auxiliary cooling systems in normal working conditions.
- Max water temperature: PVC: 25°C, PE: 50°C. See page 64 for de-rating charts.
- Allowable voltage variation: +10% / -10% Un
- Max immersion depth: 200 m
- Mounting: vertical / horizontal (up to 30 kW)
- Max allowable axial thrust: 10 kN up to 13kW, 17.7 kN from 15kW up to 37kW
