Rotorflush Filters manufactures self cleaning suction filters that protects pumps and any upstream nozzles and valves from blockage. They are being used by major players in the water and chemical industries and many smaller companies worldwide.
The products include a range of submersible pumps with integral self cleaning intake filters and self cleaning filters for fitting to the suction hose of surface mounted pumps. Screen apertures range from 6mm to 50 microns, flow rates to 30m3/hr

How it works
The basic principle is the same for all our filters, a cleaning rotor inside the filter continuously backflushes the filter screen. The main flow, (blue arrows), is through the filter screen and up into the pump. The backflush flow, (red arrows), recycles filtered water from inside the filter and blasts it back through the filter screen removing any debris. The whole screen is continuously cleaned every ½ second.
