Encapsulated stainless steel single-phase motors (0.37 - 2.2kW) & High Thrust three-phase motors (2.2 - 7.5kW) for 4" NS or WPS pumps.
Franklin Electric's 4" single- and three-phase Motors are manufactured according to ISO 9001 standards. These motors are built for dependable, maintenance-free operation and provide long life for your submersible pump operation.
Each motor features a hermetically sealed corrosion resistant AISI 304 SS cased stator ( with anti-track, self healing resin to prevent motor burn out ), water lubricated radial and thrust bearings and KTW/VDE approved motor leads with removable Water Block motor connector. NEMA flanges are fitted as standard to enable compatibility with the vast majority of borehole pumps.
Three-phase motors are available in 0.37 to 7.5kW sizes for 220V - 500V or 380V - 415V / 50 Hz supplies and three-wire single phase motors 0.25 to 3.7kW for 230V at 50 or 60Hz. All are enclosed to IP68 and have insulation class B - suitable for operation in ambient temperatures up to 30°C. All are suitable for operation in the vertical or horizontal position.
The high efficiency of the electrical design ensures cooler winding temperature for a long service life and lower operating cost.
