4" FELSOM FP4 CP Constant Presssure Submersible Pumps

General Description:

The Felsom CP borehole pump with Franklin motor uses an inverter based controller to regulate operation of the pump. No additional panels are required. The controller modulates the frequency (Hz) of the motor current in order to change pump speed in accordance with the system's water requirements. This ensures that a constant pressure is maintained in the system and the power absorbed in the motor is only that needed when the system demands – allowing a genuine saving of energy.

• Set-point pressure (Pmax) can be adjusted : i.e. the desired system constant pressure value, subject to the pump‘s maximum flow capability.
• Start pressure (Pmin) can be adjusted : i.e. the point to which pressure can be allowed to drop when water iis drawn from the system and at which the pump will start.
• Protection from dry running : The pump will be shut-down in the absence of water.
• Automatic reset following dry running shutdown : The controller will automatically check periodically to determine whether water has reappeared in the pump suction. The number and frequency of operations can be adjusted.
• Two levels of leakage protection:
  1. if a slow leak is detected a warning will be shown on the display but the pump will continue to work normally,
  2. when it detects a major leak which make the pump restart continuously, The controller will stop the unit running in order to avoid serious damage. (This function can be disabled)
• Alphanumeric back lit real-time display of the pressure and motor speed.
• The controller has facilities to enable remote system supervision.
• The direction of motor rotation can be changed (corrected) via the keypad.
