Quality in the Well Franklin Electric 4" 2-wire motors are made for direct connection to a single-phase power supply and do not require a control box or capacitor. An electronic BIAC switches the windings from start to run mode. Lightning arrestors and overloads are built-in as well. Automatic torque reversal can break loose stuck pump impellers.
